Prairie Wolf

The coyote is called a prairie wolf. It is a mammal and also a carnivore (Eats only meat), that can be found in north and Central America.
The color of the coyote’s skin is grayish brown and yellowish brown. Coyotes prefer to roam in small packs. These groups are usually not like wolf packs.
Hearing a coyote is much rarer then seeing one. The noise that coyotes make is normally barks, yelps and yips.
This predator eats small animals such as, squirrels, mice and big insects.
Coyotes have been reported attacking humans for the last 5 years in California.
